Estrela D'Alva is the oficial IAU Newspaper published during the XXVII General
Assembly of the International Astronomical Union held in Rio de Janeiro, in August 2009.
In Portuguese, Estrela D'Alva is a poetic name for planet Venus, meaning, literally, 'The Dawn Star' or,
semantically, 'The Morning Star'.
